Yes, the rods move a little unless tightly screwed on, but come on, look at those materials, super precise perfectly etched metric scale, awesome design. The rectangular shape is a but awkward until you get used to it, afterwards its great. I love it and Im happy I didnt go with either of the classical round options.

Carpenter's product (Rejsek) is of very good quality, I tried it and it's excellent, I would just appreciate a bit sharper marking wheels, but it doesn't matter, I will sharpen them myself, I recommend it for purchase!
